Inspired by the hand-drawn logo trend, the plan was to create hand-drawn art that conveyed the gloomy and sinister nature of Edgar Allen Poe's literary works. The crow started as a rough sketch which was scanned into Photoshop and hand-drawn in Paper by Fifty-Three on an iPad Pro. This allowed for greater control when rendering values and digitized the final artwork to facilitate varied uses such as signage, stationery, and promotional merchandise.
